What the Numbers Showed
The spread was extreme
Two challenges were solved by every team that attempted them, and two were solved by nobody at all. A CTF that lands both ends of that range in one sitting is doing its job: there was an entry point for first-timers and a wall for the experienced.

Most submissions missed
Of 852 flag submissions, 89 captured a flag and 763 did not — an overall solve rate of 10.4%. Failed attempts are not wasted work in a jeopardy CTF; they are the shape of teams narrowing down a guess. But the ratio is the clearest single argument for the training workshops that now run before each edition.

Points followed difficulty
The challenge set ran from Very Easy to Insane across forensics, cryptography, OSINT, and general web and binary work. The Insane tier carried the single largest share of the point pool at 1,000 points, with the Hard tier and the insane-forensics challenges at 800 points each.

Winning took breadth
HZ finished on 3,800 points, a thousand clear of TheVault on 2,800 and 1,700 clear of ZERO DAY on 2,100. The published report confirms the final totals but does not include enough per-team solve data to attribute each team's score to particular categories.
